Once upon a time, in the heart of the lush forests of Sumatra Island, lived a diligent ant named Si Semut and a cheerful grasshopper named Si Belalang. Si Semut worked tirelessly every day, gathering food to store in his nest, while Si Belalang enjoyed frolicking under the warm sun.

One day, the dry season arrived. The scorching sun scorched the forest and dried everything around it. Si Semut, wise and foresighted, had stored enough food to face the hard times, while Si Belalang continued to play without thinking about the future.

When the food supply ran out and the forest became barren, Si Belalang, hungry, approached Si Semut, "Please, little ant, I am hungry and have no food. Can you give me some food?"

But Si Semut wisely replied, "I'm sorry, my brother, but I only have enough food for myself and my family. I worked hard throughout the summer to plan for the future, while you only played."

Si Belalang felt remorseful and realized his mistake. He apologized to Si Semut and vowed to learn from his mistake. From that day on, Si Belalang learned to work hard like Si Semut, and they became good friends.
